Special polymers replace polycarbonate

Wind Power News >>

Isoplast polymers come as clear pellets that can be colored.

Flame retardant, extrudable, and co-extrudable grades of Isoplast polymers come in various hardness levels. The polymers are a rigid plastic with chemical and impact resistance. They work well as replacements for polycarbonate, in applications that encounter stress cracking, and those that are difficult to color or tint. Other features include low-temperature flexibility, toughness, and abrasion and wear resistance in combination with chemical or hydrolysis resistance.
